What materials are your products made from?

Our products are handmade from high-performance carbon fiber, combining high strength with very low weight for use in alpine conditions.

What is the UIAA certification?

The UIAA sets international safety standards for mountain equipment. For avalanche shovels, it conducts bending and pulling tests on the blade and shaft to simulate typical use during a rescue situation.

How does the Poka Yoke shaft assembly work?

The shaft has a symmetric fitting, so it locks correctly no matter which way you insert it — there is no wrong orientation.

Where is the shovel made?

LT SNOW lite is handmade in Austria.

How long does shipping take?

Delivery times vary depending on your location. Tracking information is provided once your order has shipped.

Are there additional costs for orders to Switzerland?

Yes. Orders to Switzerland are shipped DAP. Swiss import VAT (8.1%) and customs clearance fees are not included in the price shown at checkout and are charged separately upon delivery.
